HOW WE OPERATE

  • Your team of experts, including your architects, contractors, lawyers, and accountants, is a big group to manage. As your Representative, we track progress and performance across all disciplines, so you always know where your project stands, preventing miscommunications, disruptions, and delays.

  • Cost control starts with the budgeting process. We work with you to develop an accurate master budget early in the planning stage and manage each line item through design, procurement, construction, and closeout. We carefully track variances and advise on what action is required to manage the impact.

  • Large capital projects require large blocks of time, detailed planning, and ongoing reporting. We do the heavy lifting of project management compliance and problem solving, keeping you informed and freed up to maintain your normal tasks and responsibilities.

  • Our past working relationships and connections in the industry lend credibility and proven experience. We know the key firms and individuals in the region who are likely to be involved in your project. Inside knowledge about the key players keeps the lines of communication open and productive.

  • Architects, contractors, subcontractors, and public entities are represented by their most experienced principals at your jobsite. We serve as your daily eyes, ears and voice at the project management table when decisions are being discussed and your dollars are being spent. Transparency and accountability keep expectations and results aligned.

  • The owner has many responsibilities on a project outside the scope of the architect and contractor. We work with the owner and their team to make sure items such as special inspections, soil information, IT management, furniture and security are not overlooked.

  • Every industry has its own special set of acronyms, jargon, and terms of art. We are well-versed in the vocabulary of architects and contractors and make sure that drawings, specifications and change orders are prepared – and agreed to – with your goals and objectives in mind.

  • Quality and safety on complex projects are best achieved by early planning and effective communication. We collaborate with the owner, design team, and construction team to implement and execute comprehensive project specific QA/QC and safety plans.

  • Due diligence and entitlements for raw land is more complicated and extensive than similar reviews for improved real estate projects. We help you capture and interpret all the planning, design and construction issues that drive engineering, budgeting, and development decisions.
