ESKIE TEAM SPOTLIGHT

Joshua Weber | Owner’s Representative | Project Manager

Not only is Joshua a trained and educated construction professional, he is equipped with his Bachelor of Architecture. As an Owner’s Rep here at Eskie, he is able to utilize his architectural eye whenever he can — but there’s nothing like your own home renovation to stretch your design muscles!

Joshua has taken on a full kitchen remodel at his home and is on track for a summertime project completion!

Recent Update — Photograph by Joshua Weber

Beyond contracting out demo and drywall work, he has been able to handle the remainder of the remodel on his own. He built and installed ready-to-assemble cabinets, worked on the plumbing, applied a scratch coat to the ceiling, and more.

On top of the kitchen remodel, he was even able to upgrade the late-90’s siding, bringing new life to the exterior of the house.

Joshua notes that dealing with the levelness of an older house can have its complications, but other than than, states that “nothing too funky” has come up.

While living in an active construction site can feel like having a messy roommate who doubles your rent instead of splitting it, it definitely makes the pay-off that much greater.

And that’s a wrap on this quarter’s Eskie Update! Thank you to our team, clients, and project partners who have all helped us tackle some great feats this year — and thank you for tagging along for the ride! See you again next quarter! 👋
